The Conero Rosato ‘Mun’ from La Calcinara is born from a simple idea: to let Montepulciano tell the sea without passing through wood or macerations. The grapes arrive from between Contrada Calcinara and Sirolo, harvested in the early hours of dawn to retain freshness, and ferment spontaneously in steel where the wine rests for six months on its fine lees. On the nose, it is complex and iodized with berries, wild rose, and thyme. On the palate, it is lively and savory, ideal with baked fish dishes.
