The Merlot ‘Pergole Basse’ by Giacomelli is an elegant, agile red wine with great balance. It represents a marine interpretation of the Bordeaux grape, capable of standing out from the more traditional style of Merlot thanks to the character of the coastal territory. On the nose, it recalls intense floral notes and hints of small berries. The sip is enveloping, with fine and elegant tannins, excellent balance, and long persistence. Excellent paired with a Ligurian rabbit.
