The Costa d'Amalfi Rosato by Marisa Cuomo is a very fresh wine that recalls, with its savoriness, the nature of the land from which it originates, also benefiting from the influence of the sea breeze in which it reflects

The Costa d'Amalfi Rosé by Marisa Cuomo is a product of the generous and sunny Campanian land. It is born from a blend of equal parts of the two great red grape varieties of the region: Piedirosso and Aglianico. Two perfectly complementary grapes, the first fruity and harmonious, the second structured and deep. Their union gives rise to a rosé of great balance, which expresses pleasant fruity notes combined with a good body. Far from the light, transparent, and diaphanous rosés inspired by the Provençal style, it proudly claims its territorial nature, fidelity to the character of the production area of the local indigenous varieties.

The Costa d'Amalfi Rosé is produced by one of the most famous wineries in Campania. The wines of Marisa Cuomo have been part of the elite of the best Italian labels for years. The grapes of Piedirosso and Aglianico come from parcels located in the splendid scenic landscape of the Amalfi Coast, particularly in the areas of Cetara, and in the locality of Raito in Vietri sul Mare. The vineyards are cultivated on steep terraces supported from dry stone walls, at an altitude between 100 and 250 meters above sea level with a sunny south-facing exposure. The warm and breezy Mediterranean climate and the stony soils, composed of lands rich in limestone rocks, have always constituted an ideal habitat for the vine. The harvest is carried out manually in the second half of October, and the grapes are gently pressed with a brief contact with the skins. The free-run must is vinified in white with fermentation in steel at controlled temperature. Before bottling, it matures for a few months in steel, in order to preserve fragrant aromas and scents.

The Costa d'Amalfi Rosé by Marisa Cuomo is a label that faithfully reflects the face of the Campanian red grape varieties and their strong personality. It is a rosé rich in good body, particularly suitable for accompanying pasta dishes with tomato or fish stews and soups. In the glass, it presents itself with a beautiful light salmon pink color with bright reflections. The olfactory profile is intense and elegant, with aromas of ripe cherry, red currant, raspberry, wild strawberries, sour cherry, pomegranate, fragrant citrus nuances and wild herbs of the Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, it has a good structure, with rich fruit and a subtle tannic trail. The finish is fresh and has good taste persistence.
